The Team
From dental hygienists and dental assistants to our office staff, we believe the best customer experience comes from a genuine care and concern for our patients. Our goal is to ensure every appointment is comfortable, relieves any pain or discomfort and meets all of your expectations. We consistently strive to care for you and your smile, by making it our daily goal to evaluate and educate you. You are our priority!
Dr. Anthony V. Amato, DMD
Dr. Anthony V. Amato was born and raised in West Hartford, the son of Gaetano and Anna Amato. After graduating from Kingswood-Oxford school in 1979, he went on to obtain his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Boston University. Dr. Amato continued his education at Boston University’s Goldman School of Dentistry, graduating in 1987. Upon completion of dental school he returned to his hometown to maintain a private practice with Dr. Robert Bradbury. Dr. Amato continues to make implant and reconstructive dentistry his main objective, constantly striving to deliver function and aesthetics to each patient.
In his time spent outside of the office, Dr. Amato enjoys the finer things in life; time spent with his wife and family, the New York Yankees and the city of Boston. Dr. Amato has two children, Grace, a pediatric ICU nurse, and Michael, an attorney.
Tracey Amato, Office Manager
Tracey joined our practice in September of 2008. She is our office manager and is hands on in every aspect of the office. Tracey has over 30 years of front desk experience. She is always willing to go the extra mile for our staff and loyal patients. When Tracey is not at work you will find her enjoying time with her husband, Dr Amato, and their four children. She loves to bake and cook and is always trying out new recipes for her family. Her favorite hobby is shopping. Tracey & Anthony have a puppy named “Rookie”.
Kelley Roberts, Patient Care Specialist
Laura A. Pepler, CDA, RDH
Laura has been in the dental profession since 1985. She started her career as a Certified Denal Assistant, graduating with High Honors from Briarwood College. After 10 years of assisting her passion for dentistry inspired her to further her education. She attended Tunxis Community College School of Dental Hygiene, graduating with Honors. Her dedication and compassion for patients is at the foundation of her efforts. She is committed to motivating and educating patients on their individual needs to maintain oral and systemic health.
In her free time, Laura loves spending time with her husband and her son, as well as her 2 dogs. She enjoys reading and long walks on the beach and hanging out with her friends and extended family.
Jennifer Vanderpool, RDH
Jenn has worked in the dental field for over 10 years, starting as a dental assistant before continuing her education in dental hygiene. She has experience in pediatric as well as family dentistry and is dedicated to educating her patients of all ages about oral health. Growing up in West Hartford, she has been a lifelong patient of Dr. Amato and is now lucky enough to be part of his team! In her free time, Jenn enjoys spending time her with husband, daughters, and dog Cooper.
Lauren Forcello, RDH, BSDH
Lauren attended the Forsyth Dental Hygiene Program in Boston, MA where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. After finishing college, Lauren worked around Brookline and Boston in many diverse types of clinics and private practices. She moved to Connecticut in late 2007 and started to focus her hygiene career on the specific treatment of periodontal disease. Lauren is certified in local anesthesia to provide non-surgical periodontal treatment. She enjoys helping her patients achieve a healthy mouth and body.
Lauren has many hobbies which include cooking, reading, traveling, painting and spending quality time with her family. Her biggest passion is baking and sharing her homemade breads and desserts. Lauren lives in West Hartford Center with her husband Nick and two daughters. She loves walking to work!
Megan Golia, RDH
Megan started working with Dr. Amato part time in 2018 and recently joined the team full time in 2022. She is a 2017 graduate of Tunxis Community College, graduating with honors. Megan is passionate about building relationships with patients and customizing treatment and home care regimens to fit their specific needs. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and those with dental anxiety.
Megan spends her free time with her partner, Christian, and their large blended family. She loves home improvement projects and collects rocks. Megan has been known to carry a lucky rock or two in her pocket.
